Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem Al-Asadi, President of the University of Basrah,
and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Mohammed, Dean of the College of Agriculture,
the Technology Incubator Unit at the College of Agriculture organized an exhibition showcasing the entrepreneurial projects of graduate students, as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week activities at the University of Basrah.
The exhibition aimed to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among postgraduate students and to encourage them to transform their academic ideas into practical, market-oriented projects that contribute to the advancement of the agricultural and economic sectors.
The event featured a variety of innovative projects in smart agriculture, natural resource management, biotechnology, and sustainable environmental solutions. The projects reflected a high level of creativity and applied scientific research.
Organizers emphasized that this exhibition aligns with the University of Basrah’s vision of empowering young talents and supporting entrepreneurial research to enhance sustainable development and strengthen the link between academia and the labor market.
