The Marine Science Center at the University of Basrah participated in the Scientific Achievements Exhibition held at the Central Library, Bab Al-Zubair Campus, marking the 61st anniversary of the university’s founding. The event was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, President of the University of Basrah, and featured participation from various colleges and research centers.

Dr. Hind Mahdi Jarallah, Head of the Technology Incubator and Ecosystem Unit at the Marine Science Center, stated that the participation included a presentation of the center’s diverse outputs and activities, such as training courses, scientific workshops, educational lectures, academic publications, and patents produced by the center’s researchers.

She added that this participation reflects the center’s ongoing commitment to supporting the university’s scientific and research mission, and its dedication to serving the academic and development community through knowledge application and innovative research addressing marine and environmental challenges.
