Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, President of the University of Basrah, and the supervision of the Technology Incubator Division at the University Presidency, the Technology Incubator Unit at the College of Engineering, in collaboration with the Technology Incubator Unit at the College of Science, organized a workshop as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week activities.

The workshop discussed the importance of entrepreneurship within academic environments and the role of entrepreneurial projects in supporting sustainable economic development. It also addressed mechanisms for enabling university students to transform their innovative ideas into practical projects suitable for the labor market.

The workshop emphasized the role of the Technology Incubator in promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students and researchers through joint activities among university colleges that foster creativity and support the knowledge-based economy.
