Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, President of the University of Basrah, and the supervision of the Technology Incubator Division at the University Presidency, the College of Arts – Technology Incubator Unit held a training workshop for students in the Environmental Laboratory titled “The Importance of Environmental Analysis Tools in Geographical Research.”

The workshop aimed to introduce students to the tools and techniques of environmental analysis used in geographical studies and to highlight their significance in collecting and accurately analyzing data that serve applied research, particularly in areas related to natural resources and environmental planning.

The workshop included practical exercises in which students used modern analytical devices and software, enhancing their research skills and supporting the university’s vision of integrating academic learning with practical application in geographical studies.
