Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, President of the University of Basrah, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Kazem Mohammed Kazem, Dean of the College of Nursing, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Majid Asghar Mohammed, Scientific Assistant Dean, the College of Nursing, organized its annual celebration marking the 51st anniversary of the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Student Activities Unit and the Technology Incubator Unit.

The celebration, held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the Bab Al-Zubair campus, featured a variety of events, including a handicraft bazaar, art exhibitions, sports competitions, and volunteer initiatives led by nursing students.

The event aimed to promote a sense of belonging among students, encourage creativity and community participation, and highlight entrepreneurial and artistic talents within the college.

These celebrations reflect the College of Nursing’s commitment to supporting student initiatives and fostering an innovative and engaging academic environment at the University of Basrah.
